چکیده
Darjeeling mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) is one of the most popular fruit crops and Kalimpong districts West Bengal, India. The cultivation crop significantly affected by attack Chinese citrus fly Bactrocera (Tetradacus) minax (Enderlein) (Diptera: Tephritidae). Survey was conducted in months November December 2017 2018 to find out dimension problem along with its distribution, detection alternative hosts etc. During survey, 600 samples were collected from 323-1610 meters above sea level (MASL) which on an average 50.83% found be infested fly. However 10.40-75.18% fruits infected pest during harvesting different orchards. Citrus B.minax include Blanco), Sweet orange sinensis Osbeck), Rough lemon jambhiri Lush) kinnow Blanco). Rangpur lime limonia had been B. Ptecticus sp Stratiomyidae) harvested fallen fruits. Report range minax, recorded study first kind

Influence of Supplemental Protein on the Life Expectancy and Reproduction of the Chinese Citrus Fruit Fly, Bactrocera minax (Enderlein) (Tetradacus minax) (Diptera: Tephritidae)
Bactrocera minax (Enderlein) (Diptera: Tephritidae) is a major citrus pest in China, whose artificial rearing technology of the adult is not well documented to date. In this study, we tried to determine if supplementing proteins to the adult diet could result in the enhancement of some fitness parameters of B. minax. Four feeds with varying protein source were provided as F0 (water), F1 (sucros...

Larval rearing Larval development usually take five months in the field. The early hatched young larvae are fragile so we kept them to grow inside fruits for about 15 days. Then larvae were transferred to artificial diets. Mature larvae drill out diet and pupate in moist sands (Fig. 4). We used several diet formulations recommended from other fruit flies rearing. Evaluation was carried out base...
متن کاملDe novo Transcriptome Analysis of Chinese Citrus Fly, Bactrocera minax (Diptera: Tephritidae), by High-Throughput Illumina Sequencing
The Chinese citrus fly, Bactrocera minax (Enderlein), is one of the most devastating pests of citrus in the temperate areas of Asia. So far, studies involving molecular biology and physiology of B. minax are still scarce, partly because of the lack of genomic information and inability to rear this insect in laboratory. In this study, de novo assembly of a transcriptome was performed using Illum...
متن کاملGenetic Variation in Two Species of Fruit Flies of the Genus Bactrocera (dacinae: Tephritidae: Diptera)
Multilocus enzyme electrophoresis data from 14 orthologous loci (25 alleles) were used to infer the genetic variation between the two Tephritidae species, Bactrocera (Dacus) cucurbitae and B. (D.) dorsalis, which are common pests of vegetables and fruits in India. Out of fourteen loci analyzed, seven loci were polymorphic in B. cucurbitae and nine loci were polymorphic in B. dorsalis. The amoun...

The Chinese citrus fruit fly, Bactrocera (Tetradacus) minax (Enderlein), is one of the major citrus pests in Bhutan and can cause >50% mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) fruit drop. As part of the development of a management strategy for the fly in mandarin orchards, population monitoring and experimental manipulations were carried out to determine: (i) adult emergence period; (ii) adult pheno...
